I think they actually played alright.
When your away to a much superior team you do get behind the ball and hope to catch them on the break.
We lost due to ball watching in the set piece. No one picked the big centre half up.
On the whole it was a pretty decent display of defensive football from a mediocre team.
We no longer have the great players we had in the yester years so we make do with 3rd rate players compared to the opposition.
Saying that only Rosicky showed any form tonight. |
