I got catfished a belter tonight, had been talking to a girl i met over facebook for a week, decided to meet to night and oh my god, the girl from the pictures compared to the girl who arrived, did not match(the face matched). One bit. and neither did the bullshit story she had told me! Just thought i would share it with you lot!
I hope you all had a better friday night than me!
and by no way am i looking to bring anyone down, but a indication on size does matter when your pictures are so deceiving! I still gave this girl 2 hours of my time as i didnt want any feelings or confidence to be hit! I am not perfect myself but one this i am is honest! |

If body shape is so important why didn't you clarify it before? If all you got was an impression it's you that made an assumption not her trying to deceive.
I'm sure she wouldn't have been appreciative of your efforts to save her feelings by taking up two hours of her time feigning interest.

I've seen pictures on here where the only public pic is someone's calf or ankle or one boob. It's understandable in a sense that people want to show themselves in the best light or hide bits they don't like but I don't see the point when you're going to meet someone who will see everything anyway.
Ultimately though everyone had to take responsibility themselves for the people they arrange to meet and the checks they put in place before meeting them. |

Body shape isnt overly important to myself, like i said im not perfect myself but im happy enought to show people pictures where you can see what i genuinely do look like, do you reckon if i just got back in my car and went speeding off it would have made this girl feel better?

I did try to check through all pictures for some indication, but there was none, it was just all face and cleavage shots from different angles, even facetimed each other and i still couldnt tell! I wont be taking the chance again  |

I'm one of the women who uses angles and filters and crops photos. I don't wish for people to look at my mummy tummy or to focus on the question of am I curvy or fat. I'd say most women post pictures they are happy with, that show us at our best. It's not that we are trying to decieve. |

I understand we all just pick the pictures that look the best. This girl was 20 with no "mummy tummy". I made the choice to meet here totally depending on the pictures i could see but what annoyed me as well was the stories that she had been telling me all week! Everything was just 100% lies ! Its frustrating traveling a distance to only be extremely dissapointed |
