Messages being read but not deleted

Jump to: Newest in thread

By (user no longer on site) OP     over a year ago

I had a couple complain to me recently about me emailing them a second time in a month.

As i explained to them it was due to the fact that the email was read but not deleted therefore i thought there was interested and just forgot to reply.

Most people that have no interest in some one will delete the mail after reading or even without.

Thats what i dio.

Am i just being silly or is my thinking correct.

Let the abuse begin lol

I may read a message and then leave it for my man to read, or I want to discuss it with him. Usually if that's the case I try to then mark it as unread, so it will stand out for him to see.

Sometimes I forget though

I think too many people get too hung up on the status of their sent mail...

Just delete it from the sent box as soon as you've sent it... Then you have no idea if it's unread, read or deleted. If you get a reply... Great!

I take it as a "thanks but no thanks".

We never delete our mail, there's no need as it eventually drops out of your mailbox.

If you haven't had a reply then I'd take it that it's a 'no'.

Sometimes I delete. Sometimes just open then let them drop off the page. Sometimes I bulk delete. What I'm saying is I'm inconsistent probably like others on here. If I was interested I'd reply.

We reply to most, if we don't it's because it's clear someone hasn't read the profile - like a bunch toady!

We generally rpky to messages, even a no thanks, but rarely delete messages. As has been said, no reply probably means no interest

OP, as a fellow male I'd agree with you. However, you have to remember that women and logic seldom go together!
