We're going with a few fiends and looking forward to it.
I think the line-ups pretty good actually, there have been a lot of folk complaining on FB but it's just reflecting how musics changing in general. |

apparently the new venue this year is suppose to be a nightmare to get to,even longer walk to the campsite, still can't wait it's always the best weekend of the year for me! |

Looking forward to it! We're staying with friends a few miles up the road so a comfy bed, good shower and good food in the morning are making it so much more attractive this year!  |

This will be an interesting year, they will have no option but to close off some roads and make others a one way system as you will not get 2 way traffic on these twisty roads.
Fencing has already started and barriers in place at Skydive Strathallen, I believe they have borrowed Skydive Strathallens car park and airfield for over head shots
Anyone who plans walking to local villages make sure you have your "witts" about you when walking these roads, or there may be fatalities.

It's a one off grant, hardly state funded. Presumably to assist with the change in venue. Not that that worked out well! |

IF, if I were having a go at the SNP, I'd probably choose that fact that their police policy left a couple dying in a ditch, that their schools policy leave many schools short of teachers and that their health policy leave many folk waiting in A&E (even after they fiddled the figures).
£150,000? As Calum Kennedy might have said 'I've lost mair oot ma sporran runnin' furra bus'.
£150,000 is just about Nicola's salary. |

I have just googled economic value of T in the park. It led me to an article in The Herald stating that a 2014 study has shown that "T" was worth £15.4 million to the Scottish Economy.... So surely the subsidy (works out at good business at 1%) is pretty prudent.... So I can only presume that Onny is trying to praise the Nat government ???? |

Depends how much shit the pubic leave behind. I'm sure I read that it used to tale a a full two weeks for the Balado site to be cleared and all the rubbish taken way.
A lot of the site has been tidied up quite nicely and the grass is back to looking like grass again already though.

As several have said before...So what?
One of the fundamental rules of business funding, if you can use someone else's money, do it.
The event generates a huge amount of money, not just for the company but the surrounding area. Every guest house and hotel for miles around seemed to be booked up and the additional income was of huge value to the area so I don't think you'll find much sympathy with this attempt at political points scoring.

No politics here but why should any buisness that has made huge profits get any money from the tax payers.its not as if they were planning to move it to siberia I get what has been said about economics for scotland and specifically the area.imo we need to stop giving fatcats and the rich even more payouts for no reason they want to make money good generate that with their own money not everyone elses |

Don't know about TITAP but Glastonbury pays more than £750,000 in landfill taxes for the rubbish from the clear-up. Green peace is extending its efforts to recycle the tents, equipment and food left behind. |
