Here here........ making bdsm mainstream with these books and films are producing a lot of wannabes who think that abuse and receiving abuse is acceptable! I have known two "doms" who are just thugs. One I had a very lucky escape from. |

Had few people call me mr grey in the past
but to be honest i take insult in it from what i heard of the books its a lot of shit
im still a novice with kink but getting in to and loving every minute of it. And my sub thankfully lets me try out things on her and willing to experiment. she loves it and we talk each part of things over to make sure we on the same page with everything
She put it a great way the other day friend in public but slave in bed...
Kink is all about trust and wanting to explore that side of you pain is jsut a add on to it.

Books like Sm101 and Spare me the roses, give me the thorns (or something like that) give u a great insight into bdsm and the relationship between sub and dom. The power control in the relationship is firmly in the submissives hands and the dom has to work hard to look after their needs and wants and the needs and wants of the sub. |

Screw the roses - i knew it was something like that. There are a few others which I have read and enjoyed. There was one called something like the diary of a secret submissive which was a good read. It is an autobiography of a woman who met a submissive. |

Managed to find a copy of both of these online plus a couple others reading thew screw the roses now and really shocked at how much just kinda clicks for me and reminds me of myself and my sub.
This is my first proper dom sub relationship and just from the first few page is has discrimination ever we done. Safe words negotiated on various this warming up try different things. Moving from physical to emosinal. Respecting limits and rehashing everything afterwords to see what we each got from it and what we could improve on and what didn't work for us.
And also loads of aftercare on the come Down for her. She finds it hard at the end to accept affection but I give lots to make sure she ok and look after her till she through it. To me all this is a sign of a true dom feeding off the power she gives me.
