I would agree with Belle & Sebastian and have seen them several times now. I love their perspective of Glasgow. Some think it's twee, or seen through rose-tinted spectacles, but I think it's just my kind of indie-nostalgia. Belle & Sebastian are to Glasgow what Amelie is to Paris. I'm also besotted with Isobel Campbell, she will always be Belle to me. |

Not sure I could pick just 1 favourite as there's too many that I like. The main ones that spring to mind are;
Idlewild (and Roddy's solo work)
Runrig (and Brian Hurren's solo album)
Martyn Bennett
Mark Knopfler
Biffy Clyro

Best thing Texas done was the 'tired of being alone' EP, came out just after Rick's Road I think.
