As part of the 'aye write' festival there's a transexual who wrote a book about her experiences. She will be discussing these experiences on Wednesday 18th april at 7.30. Called 'Becoming Julie'. It's on at the Mitchell library. (Google aye write and their website will have more details.)
This might be of interest to some of fabs'.
It can't have been easy growing up in Glasgow during the 1950s and being transexual.
I might go as I know what it's like not really fitting in and I have been told frequently that I am quite eccentric.
Anyone else interested?
