As an Englishman, and a United fan, I have no problem saying kenny dalglish was the best scottish player ever to play in England but who, without obvious prejudices, was the best English player to play in Scotland? |

Lol guess the supporters . Never ends well . Are you meaning the best english player who has played football or the best in his prime while playing in scotland. I have 2 . Undoubtably gascoigne is the best english player to grace our stadiums, tho no where near his stature when arrived in scotland.
Best player in his prime has to be chris sutton, teamed up with larsson , unstoppable. |

If I was being objective I'd have said chimp faced Thompson was a better player for Celtic than Sutton. He even managed to get capped for England while playing at Celtic.
Chris Woods for me maybe though. Gazza the most exciting but Woods cause as a keeper I'm biased. |

There has been many great english players over the years to grace our scottish clubs but 1 stands out wayyy above all the others purely because he was at his ultimate prime whilst playing north of the border .....Chris Woods |
