Very sad but he kept going with the books as long as he could - certainly didn;t give up so a real inspiration I think.

Hopefully he's riding a giant turtle on the back of four elephants (or something like that)

He got me reading when i really hated it due to my dyslexia. He will be missed

I loved all his stuff, had to stop reading the disc world books on the train as I used to sit crying wth laughter.

Great man and a great writer.

I've set aside the book I was reading and picked up the first Discworld I read - Hogfather.

The Disc is a comfort blanket to me, I'll never tire of it.
