Now; if it was any other country that Killed 105,000 women & children their would be an uproar, but relax folks, it was the Americans so all is okay.

They don't tell you this in the history books

in the 1945 firebombing, which killed about 100,000 people+ in the single night of 10 March.

It was just after midnight when the rumble of B-29 bombers was heard, jolting Tokyo awake. The incendiaries that fell from their bellies, full of jelly petroleum, were like nothing anyone had ever seen.

They turned canals and rivers into flame and if the jelly stuck to you, it kept burning till flesh turned to bone. “The planes filled the sky like dragonflies,” recalls Michiko Kiyoka. “Everywhere you looked there were charred bodies, women & children screaming on fire

You have to remember just how bad the japanese empire was and as usual the people pay for the arrogance of there rulers especially when they are seen as living gods. Tha attrocities they did are well documented including things like working pows to death and even officers having compititions to see who could cut off the most prisoners heads and raping and killing the female and child pows. As distasteful as war is sometimes extreme measures have to happen if you ever get the chance to hear the stories of any japanese pows you will get a beter understanding of why they had to be stopped. That and the fact that starlin would have taken advantage of the allied forces as they where not involved with fighting Japan. That's why the nukes where used to bring the war to a quick end and show starlin the power of the new bomb.

drastic times call for drastic measures any mission that was undertaken had alot of discussion beforehand at the time this response was deemed neccesary

I know it was not the nukes that time but just saying how these things escalate unfortunately war dose bring out the worst in some but it also brings out the best. Try looking for the heros and heroines to help balance things out. People are basically good maybe focusing on that would be beter.
