We've been toying with the idea of social/parties for a long time and one of the things that puts us off is being total newbies surrounded by confident veterans, so i imagine there would be a lot of interest in this.

How would you class a newbie?

Someone on the site less than 1year or 6months

Someone on the site been on it for over 1 year but hasn't met anyone off it.

Xxx

We would consider ourselves "newbies" as we have never attended a group social, however we have a fair amount if experience in other situations.

Socials are same as attending a club for the first time, its only scary the first time going through the door, best bet is to message someone who has been before and grab a coffee, they wont jump on you in starbucks
