Ok the hair straightener was falling over and I grabbed it and burned my thumb. Now have a blister cos I was stupid.

Who else has done this or something equally 'special'?

My daughter was using curling tongs years ago the slipped and burtn the outer skin on her eyeball she was lucky she didnt blind herself she spent a week in Canniesburn hospital

Was trying to solder a really small component once and had no sleep, no idea why but I licked end of the soldering iron, like you would a pencil, instant wakeup, not recommended

Went out in Glasgow about month ago and walked into a lamp post. Knocked self out, had stonking black eye. Ambulance car came and patched me up but I refused a&e. Had get x Ray on the tue make sure hadnt fractures eye socket!!
