"Hey does anyone like or play the bagpipes or even need a piper for a party etc I love to play and listen all the time x"
What a fabby and kind gesture to offer to play!
I love to hear bagpipes being played - if I am caught unaware like the time when I stopped for a break at work in the Grassmarket, Edinburgh, the pipe band were going by [sadly cant recall what the event was] my colleagues were ripping me to bits cos I was weeping like a wuss! . My dad was a piper but I never got to hear him play - my arse of a mother made him sell them [thankfully they divorced!]. |

As u know i had a funeral a few weeks ago i let the kids do most of the arranging and it was fine but 2 things i asked was for my son in law and my 2 lovely grandsons 19 and 24 to wear kilts and secondly for a piper to play my ex away from the funeral parlour and also when we were going into the crematorium i was so so glad i did There is nothing finer than a lone piper[who can play the pipes properly] or a pipe band |
