Is there anyone that could recommend some good places to camp or overnight. Planning on going to Skye in a few weeks.

Try the B+B on route u-55 on Skye. For bikers only. Very cheap and very friendly - run by Richard. Used to go annually, but not been for maybe 5 years. If you search online you will find it.

Morags Lodge in Fort Augustus. Great hostel. Has a bar, does food, you can get a private room and it has a drying room - you'll likely need that!

Check out the Scottish Youth Hostels Assoc. Very different from the spartan sheds of old.

Not too many SYHA's up that way now. Ratagan and Broadford I think are the only two. Broadford is a bit rough. There is the Loch Ness one but it's only open in the summer I think and in the arse end of nowhere.

Portree Independent hostel is nice though. Saucy Mary's, at Kyleakin, although a bitty rough too, has a good atmosphere in the bar and amazing food. You can even go to the Yes bar across from it - you'd like that Onny

Cheers guys will look into this. I know there is not much in the hostels as I am in the club. Not went past Appplecross to be honest, so this time will be good.

Thanks for the help was unsure how it would go in this. Would be good to attend a swingers ride. Anyone know of such?

We'd be up for something in the warmer climes and time permitting. Daisy had her first ride out in the cold last week and I think she's good now til the sun comes out

Want to try and get to a few rallies this year if we can.

Defo check out Morags though. It's fab. Well not FAB but you know what I mean...that said full of Aussie backpackers so you never know!!
