Glasgow

.... but how can ANYONE afford to live in Londo?

Average house price £1M, average rental £1600pm!

Don't even see what the big appeal is.

Feel sorry for youngsters born ther. They'll never get their first home anywhere near famil!

The average London house price across city is £502,000. Perhaps a million in wealthier borough.

It is a ridiculous value and agree I wouldn't wish to live there. For one, it would be a helluva morning commute to my work in Glasgow

I lived in Surrey and worked in London

I loved it and really miss it there. Would move back again in a heat beat if I could

I worked in London many years ago when they were rebuilding Wembley Stadium. It's incredibly expensive for everything.

I'm a Glaswegian living in Kent, I work in London I commute daily, it's not bad money but I'm paying £600 a month train fare then my Oyster card & food on top everything is so expensive, I couldn't even get a shitty room for £600 a month.

Wrong again lol. That's mega expensive now thanks to all the warehouse conversions. There are still some council estates but some of those houses are now £350000+

My former mother in law worked at the JSDC in Greenwich before it moved out and the site became the university of Greenwich.

It's all very trendy there now but I like that, when I go back to Glasgow and see how much it's changed over the years I like that too.

everywhere has modern areas that come with a pricetag but I dosnt change that the main part is an area folk would prefer not to live folk hear about london and think to expensive yeah it is if you hang around picadilly bothwell park glasgow and dick place edinburgh you get no change out of 1.5 mil dosnt mean these citys are expensive I lived in various parts of london for 10 yrs and cost of living was about the same as here my son is from windsor an area supposedly very affluent apart from the castle area move out of there the place is a dump

My old nan lived in Battersea, Just off Falcon Road.

I loved it as a teenager going to stay with her.

I moved out of London to give my kids a better quality of life. There are many many things down there that are more expensive than up here, property being the main one but public transport up here is more expensive as there isn't ine cohesive body in charge unifing it. For example, kids travel free on all London buses, not so up here.

But London was a great place to live until I had kids. I guess my priorities changed
