Is FAB turning into facebook for adult's as there seem's to be an increase in those who just want to chat and not meet ? Or is it just people playing silly games , who say they want to meet but never do ? If they never want to meet why don't they just be honest and say so ? Life is too short for this childish carry on , we are grown ups and don't need to be fake . We can say or do what we think with like minded people |

have a hunt around John, you will find other sites where people do actually meet, this is a good site but there are others related more to meeting |

I am breathing , it's an observation , I have nothing against people who want to chat , just be up front about these things , we all have times when we cant meet and happy to talk  |

Having deactivated my fb account I've found I'm really missing sharing all the boring details of my hum drum life like how many peas I had with my dinner n all that crap.
Soooooo.....I really need to use the crapper n wouldn't want anyone to miss anything so I'll take a tape measure n a set of scales with me so I can let you all know how it went

Why be on a swinging ( swapping) site but not want to meet anyone?
Maybe the people running Fab should start a Fab social chat site. They already have a bi sexual site so they are expanding. Would save messaging people who just get off on looking at pictures and talking about it. Just a thought. |

I've noticed that a number of regulars on here are no longer on the site. Most intimated before they left that they were fed up with timewasters who seemed to think the site was here to chat but not meet. Anyone else noticed this. |

I'm here to meet....sorry if that's going against the grain but that's what I'm here for...i have both male and female friends I can talk to anytime I like, without going on a swinging site to do so.. If I'm on here it's with the hope of arranging a meet..i thought that was the whole point to this site
Don't get me wrong,I have made friends with ppl on the site..but that has come after meeting them...i have no problem with ppl who clearly state that they are not meeting,I won't mail them,therefor not wasting my time or their's..
I think the big clue is in the site name..swingers....swinging definitely isn't about chatting on the Internet... |

I think it's up to each individual what they use their profile for..
Life can get in the way,making it difficult to meet or have found someone they meet up with & don't want to meet anyone else.
people need to realise fab is virtual real life comes first

Absolutely this. It changes and evolves. I've done the meets and the whole swinging lark but now I'm winding that down. I still enjoy, most of the time, the involvement I retain. If others don't like that, then that's a shame. |

Absolutely this. It changes and evolves. I've done the meets and the whole swinging lark but now I'm winding that down. I still enjoy, most of the time, the involvement I retain. If others don't like that, then that's a shame. "

I don't understand your point, your op was a good old rant about people chatting and not meeting (childish I think it was) and now you're saying you've nothing against people who want to chat and you understand that it can't all be chat?
Is this a reaction to chatting with someone and you're expecting meet and then they turn round and tell you you they don't want to?
