Scottish Labour is campaigning for the alcohol ban to be dropped.
Such a move is also favoured by the Scottish Conservatives.
The Scottish government has said it has "no plans" to change the policy

It's strange the SNP want the ban to remain when they're so fond of the booze themselves.
That might just be the SNP team in Dundee that cut the job of a valued teacher in order to cut costs but voted to keep the 'entertaining' budget in place though.
Hmmmm...
