Are they just sent to try us if there's anyone who has teenage children and they haven't seriously thought about murdering them hats off to you. Then there's that look that says you are ancient what would you know

Our teenager is a dream. 15 year old boy maths geek. Does his own thing, tidiest room in the house and very rarely lift our voices to him.

8 year old daughter on the other hand...oooft b'jesus! Haud me back...

Yes teenagers are way worse than the "terrible twos".....they treat the house like a hotel, me like a skivvy, and the thought that i have thoughts other than what is happening in there lives ?... of course not...it would shock them to know im not always doing an online "shop" lol xx

ps ..I love them to bits as well xx

Oh my god! We know you exactly what you mean!

Boys are mostly easier than girls. Our eldest is a reprobate, our 13 yr old is going through the "Kevin the teenager" stage, our daughter, well she can turn the tears on like a tap!

So yes. We sympathise completely!

Spare the rod n spoil the child lol. While I'm not advocating physical punishment I firmly believe you reap what you sow when It comes to bringing up kids.

I was a nightmare as a young boy then even worse as a teen but thank my auld dear for not waiting hand and foot on me,by the time I was 14 I was cooking for myself n washing my own clothes most of the time.

Was shown a lot of 'tough' love which turned me into the independent chap I am today.

Spoilt wee brats really piss me off, give em 6 o' the best with the buckle end of the belt!....I'm joking of course

All boys in my house and while 40% of the time my eldest is like Kevin the teenager hes also the most amazing and inspiring man I know. Motivated, dedicated and a go getter. Heart of gold and a big help to me. I hope all 3 of my boys turn out like him

Falkirk

My eldest is 13 and he is a stroppy teenager at home and an angel everywhere else.

My middle one is 11 and he is the same as his brother.

My youngest is 6 and she is learning bad habits from her brothers

I can't wait for them to all grow up, have their own kids and wonder where they went wrong too
