Do you believe in it?
Do you honestly believe your loved ones gone before you are waiting for you at the pearly gates or at the gates hell for some lol.
Why is it when people have spoken of near death experiences the they always talk about the bright light lights, the pearly gates, the harp music and loved ones waiting for them?
Why Have people who have had near death experience never spoken what hell is like? lol
Sorry just in that kind of mood this morning lol |

I have had "as close as you can get" near death experience which was confirmed by surgeons, no bright lights or visions of any sort, woke up 2 days later in a single room hospital bed hooked up to lots of life saving equipment |

The human body is a wonderful piece of equipment, I can remember nothing of the car accident to this day, it seems the body protects itself and blanks out the parts that may harm us. Always grateful to the doctors & nurses in casualty.
This is only my view, its not to say there isn't a wonderful life after death, who knows
I sure hope there is a "rainbow bridge" |

I have a belief in life after death, but it is based on nothing more than a feeling there has to be something more.
I try to lead my life by a few simple rules but the most important for me, and this should apply to whatever you believe is enjoy the life you have to the full, but not at the expense of others happiness |

The only problem was although badly injured I wasn't near death I was knocked unconscious and lying in a pool of petrol from a burst petrol tank with a broken shoulder but not near death just stoned on petrol fumes I think but it felt so real |

The only thing I felt from my near death experience was light of worries and pain and an overwhelming feeling of peace and happiness and I remember being very unhappy when I was brought back to life as it was the most lovely established feeling of contentment I'd ever experienced . |

I think the energy that makes us up has to go somewhere. You can't just kill energy. Therefore I do believe in something else, not heaven and hell but something.
I'll often chat to my parents (lost mum 5 years ago and dad coming up 2) but maybe I'm just dolally |

Visited the school I use to go to. Standing on the grass was a young boy. There for a minute or two. Then just vanished. Searched all around the building. No site. Asked the janny if he went in the building. I described him to a t. Janny went quite said that is Craig. Use to go to this school. Got killed in a crash years ago. Sometime people see him in the school. Described him like you. I swear on my life that happend. |

I'd say there may be echoes of people...probably something to do with the quantum world
though when you think about it, dead people still influence the living..the energy is somewhere floating about and gets into our brains too |

Am a big believer it the afterlife and angels,
Not long after my dad died we visited a spiritual church in a different town and what she told my mum and me was spot on and we had never seen her before, she even got what my dad used to wash his hair with and it wasn't shampoo. |

Hard one for me.
I am a Buddhist, they believe in re-birth
However as a teenager and young adult I dappled in the paranormal and once tried to study Parapsychology.
I have many friends who are Mediums, Spiritualists and where a number of
things they have tried to explain to me I have found evidence that proved them wrong
However, I have witnessed things I cannot explain. |

Yes I do believe, had too many experiences not to. The first time I saw my mother after she had passed on I did ask the question "is there such a place as hell" I was shocked and didn't understand the reply for many years. She said "your living in it" now looking at the state of the world, the pain the suffering of many, murders of innocent children etc. I can believe this. |

You mention "Suffering"
In Buddhism the 4 Noble Truths
Number One is we are all suffering |

Not for me!
Think religion as a whole is based on fear of dying! If you choose to believe then fair enough and if it gives people comfort then it ain't a bad thing!
I have a scientific brain and need proof before I believe, so far I havnt seen proof! Blind faith just not for me so I think once your gone your gone! |

I had a near death experience when I was six. Docs told my mum I had about one hour to live as my air way was closing.mlucky for me my mum worked at the hospital and a surgeon she knew saw her crying. He took me to surgery and took out my tonsils what gave me an airway to breathe.
Leading up to this my heart stopped a few times, and at some points I was reaching up to the ceiling and when asked what I was doing I said "I'm trying to touch his hand".
Also I have woken sometimes to see a figure at the end of my bed. I described the person to my mum, who said it sounded like her grandfather (he died before I was born and had never seen a photo of him). I was shown a photo of a lot of people in it and I picked him straight out! |

I'm not a believer and had a conversation with a devout christian about life after death.
seems anyone can get into the kingdom of heaven if they truly repent. I asked about nazi war criminals who murdered millions but got a christian sendoff and was told that if they had repented then the pearly gates would open. as for me, i'm destined for the firey place as i won't repent even although i have lived a reasonably decent life. |

I don't know what happens after we die.
I believe it's more important to be the best person you can be while you're alive.
If that gets you into a better club when you're gone, fair enough.
but I'd rather live my life being the best I can be, than being a hypocrite who is horrible all week but thinks they will be forgiven because they go and worship their god for an hour at the weekend and thinks that absolves them and they will be granted entry to their nirva.
