If you've never been to a club up here or went down to England or abroad to a swingers club why. What is it that is holding you back

"Would love to go to a club but scared to go alone and also worried about saying no to people am not attracted to if they asked to play lol"

I've found people to be very respectful, and wouldn't be offended if you decline.

Have you considered going with a girlfriend for moral support?

There's absolutely no pressure to play, you can just stay in the bar and socialise, or watch others if you want.

The first time I went was with Mr, I was very nervous at first but soon relaxed and had a great night!

I went for the first time last week to cjs after my friend asking me for about two years and can 100% say it was a completely relaxed atmosphere with no pressure to do anything

Would definitely encourage any women to go that have been putting it off due to nerves, was definitely much more relaxed than I imagined

I have been to CJ's Greedy Girls nights alone and guess most of the guys are also alone there. I have not yet been to one of the regular nights on my own and guess I should do this soon. If any of the other single ladies need a companion I would be happy to oblige of course.

clubs hold absolutely no interest for me , so would have no need to go. dont like the fact that folks have to pay more if they are male either .

i prefer clubs over socials..I wish we had more up here, been to various ones over the years down south. They can be treated as social play areas and a good chance to meet new people.

also...when people start moaning about lack of action I laugh...seems a lot of people think sitting on their arses wioll get them meets.

clubs/socials are one of the ideal ways to vett people...I for one prefer people who have the maturity to be able to attend such events.

its also weird as many guys would be happy jumping to the pub to watch the footie with another 50 or so men...but whince at the thought of attending a club or soacial...

I like clubs and socials too, gives you a chance to meet and see how you get on

We wish there was one closer to us though, Aberdeen is an hour away, Edinburgh 1hr 20 mins

What puts me of the clubs is the cost and that i prefer to play privately rather than publicly-it's what £40 for a single guy, say £10 as it's byob if you want to have a drink, maybe £30 on taxi fares...i can have plenty of social nights on the kink scene for a third of the cost. As for socials getting a place on the list when you're not known is hard enough, they're that far in advance that even if i did get a spot and pay my deposit there's no guarantee that I'll be able to make it as even if i ask for the night off in advance i may still have to work for one reason or another.

Clubs and socials aren't the be all and end all and just aren't for some people.

We've thought alot about attending a club but we are very private with this side of our life and the idea of being in such an environment with lots of people is still just a little too scary for us.....maybe one day

" Clubs and socials aren't the be all and end all and just aren't for some people."

Couldn't agree more, some people give the impression that it's the only way to meet women.

As said previously, never been to a club, social, or party, but still met ladies on here.

Several reasons. Mainly that I'm usually busy weekends and can't attend Aberdeen club unless I have a girl with me if I was free.

There are many reasons that people may chose not to go.

The main reason is I like to be careful about the environment I play in and who is there.

I don't like the idea of lots of strangers and I've also read about people who touch or join in without permission, it's off putting

Been to after 8 and had a good time. Everybody was very respectful. The only off putting thing, and the reason I wouldn't go back in a hurry is that it was a bit seedy (decor was a little tired), although the people there were great!
