Glasgows Valentines Ball (One week to go)

Well with one week to go I thought I'd do another post to see who's all still got what to do ??
Hair nails and beauty treatments all booked ladies ?? That reminds me best book mine
Shoes underwear and jewellery all purchased?
Guys have you all looked out and had your suits cleaned or new shirts n ties
or have you been measured up for the kilt or tux?
Over the next week everyone will receive a mail to ask for some details so look out for it and please send a reply or details of venue etc will not be sent over. .
Anyone who still wants to come along and hasnt got their names down you've got until Tuesday at the very latest then there won't be anymore names added . This is because the hotel needs a list of numbers and meal places .
There are however more evening places available due to the venue suite being extented to allow a larger capacity.
So if you've not got any plans next Fri , 13th February and looking to get out and meet new people and have a right good night out with something a bit different get your names down or PM me for details

Just jewellery and make up needed now Again .I was all sorted but a pesky little 2 yr old angel found my makeup bag and smeared all of it over my bathroom floor and wall and her mum stole my jewellery lol ..my family is evil pffft  |

I'm still struggling with shoes  . And my nails are shot. Hair, makeup, underwear (for me ...) and a choice of 2 dresses and jewellery sorted. Can't wait. Sx |

Everyone is very friendly and that's the best part is meeting new faces .. as said above . The nerves and excitement are a huge part of it . Trust me I will be shaking in my shoes lol xx |

We only know a few going but it wasn't long ago that we were complete newbies to socials. From our experience we couldn't have been more welcomed, everyone is so friendly and warm, some of which are now very good friends. Enjoy the nerves and anticipation, everyone gets them even after a lot of socials. xx |

We only know a few going but it wasn't long ago that we were complete newbies to socials. I once ran barefoot through Princess Street Gardens which included skipping through the fountain whilst on. Think I was 18 at the time and very intoxicated!

Now that's a wonderful image Shy, you should go around skipping barefoot in the world's famous parks and fountains like Central Park, Tuilleries and the Trevi fountain and the make a series of cheeky postcards to send to your friends. xx |

Nervous? First time? Jeez oh! You should've seen me at my first social a few weeks ago - nervous, shy, visibly trembling, shaking like a leaf to the point where I nearly missed my mouth with my pint a few times. After a few drinks everything was fine 'n' dandy and I was chatting away to everyone. Not everyone there knew each other, it was other people's first social too and everyone mingled, chatted and danced (although early on I was much, much too sober for dancing!) Everybody there was more friendly and welcoming than sexy Scientologists on a fundraising recruitment drive. Remember, as a couple, you will be there with your rock beside you and the bar providing a little Dutch courage is but a pork scratching's throw away. See you at the Valentine's Ball! x |

Last day today for any last minute stragglers with no plans for Fri evening. Why not add your name to come along and meet new friends or catch up with old ones . Have a drink , dance and a great night out in Glasgow at the valentines ball .
