Cooking lager. Poisonous too!
Sam Adams Boston Lager (go Pats)
Maes Pils from Belgium
Most German lagers, especially Jever and Kolsch.
Average pub lager = Kronenbourg. only ever drink tennants in emergencies and with a top

"I'm based in Munich with work just now Jack and I've yet to find a lager that I really like. I've been doing a fair amount of sampling lol"
Augstiner? Think thats from Bayern. Even the basic stuff from Lowenbrau or Hofbrau is better than anything here.
I remember when Mary left the Port of Leith they stopped selling Lowenbrau at £2.50 a pint and replaced it with Stella at about £3.... |

Anything but Tennents I think my first taste of the stuff ruined that lager for me for life.. I was about 12 and stole a warm can from the kitchen as a Ney Year party was going to be at my house.
Every time u even see the stuff I think back to bombing into the kitchen and stuffing a can up my duke then hot footing it back to the bedroom unseen..2 sips later I was pissed,be great if I could get d*unk on 2 sips now ha ha |

Real ale man here, but I love an Amstel too. Weiss beers are wonderful and that St Mungo's!!! Wow, it's gingery, lovely but rocket fuel. |

Amstel is ok, would rather a tennents though lol. I do like an ale myself now and again (it's one of the attractions of the wetherspoons pubs actually) |
