pretty bored and watching the best of scotch n wry and was wondering how many other people loved it and besides from the obvious of still game, chewing the fat is there any other great scottish comedies out there

Hit and miss for me, I did laugh like fuck a couple of times watching it but not enough that I would stick it on very often.

Rab c was a sketch in Naked video as was Gregors other character the baldy man...both got there own tv shows...

This is the outer hebrides broadcasting corporation calling civilisation lol

Loved that programme :

Rev I Am Jolly is my favvy closely followed by the sketch where he wakes up in the mortuary d*unk.

Used to laugh so much I cried.

For me it was Supercop. The sketch with mick McManus still has me laughing like a drain.

Total class and so different from "comedians" like frankie Boyle who rely on bad taste and insults.

That had me laughing mick mcmanus was a wrestler mark well he could deliver a line I remember the first taggart his posh sidekick standing over a body said shes been strangled by an item of lingrie and taggart says yer in partick son its a pair o fuckin tights

Scotch n wry was absolutely class. The one that sticks in my mind is the Rev David goodchild getting d*unk on the water that was replaced with gin.

Scotch and Wry's Last Call was brilliant. Who can forget the minister from the Wee Free or the female missionary just back from Africa where the tribe were naked.

Ricky Fulton and Jack Milroy just had to walk on stage and everyone fell about laughing.

It was a nice touch that the motorcycle cops had outriders for Ricky's funeral.

The Police used to sell Supercop badges!!
