Its gonna rule out most folks.... but prob not the first time that social organisers have put restrictions on who may attend ..... but all down to the organiser at the end of the day

I'm a newcummer ! Lol

I'm not sure a totally newbies social would suit me being a bit nervous ect

From what's said on here it looks like mostly all experienced fabbers are very welcoming and super at easing the nerves of new folk .

If and when I do pluck up enough courage to go to a social , one which is open to all appeals the most

to be honest a newbie social would be better suited the whole social scene needs a new approach of the socials available its for the most part same faces diffrent day with a cpl of new comers that are put on the spotlight

Think any social is a good idea...any way of showing that you are a genuine and friendly individual is a great idea...and just where is the social going to be general area?

School Disco, Halloween party, Xmas party, Valentines Balls, BBQ, organised drinks nights and impromptu drinks nights. Then we have a variety of different apartment parties, private parties, camping and lets not forget the upcoming trip to Blackpool. Covering Stirling, Edinburgh, West Lothian and Glasgow - and that doesnt include Fife, Aberdeen and by the looks of things Ayr! At none of the above have I seen new comers put in the spotlight. They have been welcomed by the majority and put at ease.

Be interested to hear your ideas of what new approach should be taken to the social events.

I personally think anyone who is willing to put in the time and effort organising socials should be admired and encouraged...

you may feel that the social scene is alive and bubbling myself I find that especially the central belt socials are very same old same old you can basically map out the floor plan and who will be sitting where a change up of organisers is not a bad thing breaths new life into the scene for those who enjoy what is on offer thats fine and dandy for others a variety is needed
