After 8 club as a single male

I over in Edinburgh at the weekend and I have told about the After 8 club. I am pretty new to this scene so don't know want to expect if I go ...

Have read a few reviews on here . Is it just like a bar and a nightclub where it will be full of single males ?

Also everyone says the staff make you feel welcome I would like to know what this means ?

Any help would be great as could pay this place a visit at the weekend

I av been across as a single and I found the people really friendly and happy to chat to singles , but I did find that you have to make an effort to chat to them as well and not just sit back like a wall flower . hope that helps a bit
