I have met once without seeing a pic,because of her job. She was nice but not really my cup of tea. If you know what I mean. Now of I don't get a face pic back I just plainly refuse as I always send one. Each to there own I suppose. |

I'd never meet someone I hadn't seen a picture of or seen on cam
I always suggest exchanging face pictures fairly early in conversation if getting on well and a meet seemed likely to ensure an attraction both ways and save wasting anyone's time |

I wont send my face pic over on demand yet many expect one on the 2nd message to see who their chatting to, I reply out of manners but clearly say I'm looking for female Iv had loads messages just this week asking if id like to chat and attach pic, I reply by saying your the wrong gender and we are not meeting so you don't need my face. Am I wrong not to splash my face all over fab? |

How do you meet someone you've never seen... Fair enough not having pics on your profile but everyone should have one to send privately.. My job is as important to me as anyone else's job is to them,I still send my face pic..i take it they are fake and not worth the bother if they won't send their's or claim not to have any...works for me  |

This I agree with whole heartedly. If someone asks me for a face pic I refuse until they send one, or make it available on their pics. Equally, if I'm asking I'll always add one to the message. |

Agreed but one of the reasons we insist on a Social meet first with no pressure is just in case the face pic we are sent isn't the actual person who shows-up (it has happened)

Seems to me that a picture is that just a picture. I personally hate putting anything personal into the web as once in it is amazing just who can get it. Just try a quick google of your fab name and see what results you get.
If your having a meet with someone you have not seen then surely you should agree that if either side is not as described then you can walk away without any bad feelings. Best to meet some where away from your home first just incase it upsets either party.
I may mean a waste of time but even a pic is no guarentee maybe a quick skype would be beter. I can't believe a woman used her dauhhters picture.  |

why not simply cam2cam first you will find an instant like or dislike and I am sure you would cam if 2 or 3 months chat prior to meet |

Seriously in this day and age everyone has access to take a wee selfie. Even crap phones have cameras. And as for the job thing i dont agree either. Why join if it bothered you that much. Not only will I never meet without one but I also want to see it early, as in second or third message. What is the point in hours or even days of messages if you'll ultimately find out you're not attracted to them? As is entirely your right of course, I'm not asking anyone to do anything I'm not prepared to do myself.
It verges on comical how many folk on here seem to almost be offended that you dare so much as ask to see a face pic. It's my belief those people either aren't who they claim to be or that they themselves consider themselves unattractive. |

We dont have face pics on here and dont plan to either. We have bugger all to hide and do not consider ourselves unattractive. Have your own rules by all means bit accept others have theirs too without jumping to unfounded assumptions. |

No we woulndnt but we also wouldnt demand that they send a face pic, if your truly serious about the possibility of a meet then skype is better for us....no out of date, flattering light pics ...you see each other as you are. |

Yes, we always insist the ladies talk on the phone first, generally have established we like the idea of each other. It usually works out well socially, and if someone decides not to take it further then fair enough. sometimes that's us, on occasion it might b the other party. Discretion is a must. No face pics from us. xx |

I agree with you at least if you see each other on skype you know the ACTUAL person your meeting and not someone who is 10yr older or 10 stone heavier than their pic. |

We always send face pics with the first message, and ask for same in return. Saves hours, days, weeks of chatting before you realise there's no attraction. |

Some people don't send them but their general pics give a good idea as to what they look like.
You are not wrong to ask for one, but some people just don't send them. We do like to see who we are meeting but normally we have met them at a social night anyway and just need a reminder as we both have awful memories. |
