Glasgow City Councillors have narrowly voted to cut funding to this organisation - and I understand some of their concerns / criticisms - but they haven't put a better option/alternative in place. Why not?

Politicians need to engage more fully and purposefully with mental health issues. Either support this organisation to be as effective as we need them to be - or propose an alternative - just cutting funding to a particular organisation is no kind of answer.

I dont trust the money grabbing cunts anyway. The amount of money that has been generated in glasgow over the last few years is staggering, filming, commonwealth games...

someones always lining their pockets, or using funds to buy more expensive and unneeded luxuries

IMO

Why is someone from C'nauld paying Council Tax in Glasgow?

"Two comments above from people who appear not to be Glasgow Council Tax payers."

What is your point?

Less kindly/charitably/forgivingly - what is the point of you?

My concern is for the welfare and wellbeing of people with mental health issues - your point - if you have one, is about geography. Am I not allowed to care for the people of Glasgow?

You show no signs of caring for people in Glasgow with mental health issues - are you suggesting that people outwith Glasgow should abandon them too?

Just as a matter of interest - I pay a fair chunk of money in Business rates to Glasgow and I pay every penny of income tax that I'm due - no clever accounting - I'm an honest man

with a belief in supporting people.

I find your posting to be insular, divisive and Ill-informed.

Your comments are beyond/beneath credibility - I almost typed beyond/beneath contempt - but they are contemptible, so let's just go with that.

Looking beyond the geography - do you actually have something to offer this debate or are you happy enough to sit wanking in your chair?

This is a cut in future provision and posters' complaint is 'why aren't other people doing more?'.

'Why aren't other people doing more', you ask - What have you done?

Your comments bear no scrutiny whatsoever. That's why you offer no credible retort.

You offer nothing but criticism but seek to defend the indefensible.

Other people should offer more...

If they came in the morning...

It isn't ME who's asking why don't others do more.

"It isn't ME who's asking why don't others do more."

Statement / question? What do you bring to the debate?

PS - ME in block capitals is akin to referring to yourself in the third person - Onny says that...

Your integrity has been questioned - unambiguously - I've done it. Answer the accusation levelled - or just ffffffade away. or fuck off.

"My integrity hasn't been question by anyone whose opinion I respect."

Question - Do you mean questioned?

Regardless - Still waiting for answers to the salient questions asked - not holding my breath - we all know you deal in accusations and not answers.

PS - People join this site to get humped - every time you post - you get humped.

There's a bit of me hopes that you reply - and you'll get humped again - and the Socialist in me hopes that you won't - some things shouldn't be shared - like the shame of your stupidity.

Go On Go On Go On...

I understand your desire to change the subject but my initial post

"Two comments above from people who appear not to be Glasgow Council Tax payers."

looks to be accurate.

You're not going to get anywhere with Onny - he doesn't do Parliamo Logic.

More like, "my party, right or wrong."

Why would I want to change the subject I've addressed it - you've avoided it?

I'm familiar with false consciousness - and cognitive dissonance - you are too -albeit you might not know it.

Other than cynicism and poor grammar compounded by a comprehensive lack of logic - what do you have to offer?

At the minute, you're the equivalent of a Brit abroad - Louder and Louder...

I suggest that you consider and address the questions posed. Or, leave the grown ups alone.

I know - I might as well try teaching my kitten Algebra - but I've had 3 glasses of wine. Anyway - in the morning, my kitten will still be beautiful - and receptive to new ideas - thanks for posting!
