Suggestions on how to make 2015 the best year yet.

2014 has easily been the worst year of my life (long story). I'm hoping 2015 is more kind. What kinda things can I do to ensure that 2015 makes up for this year? All suggestions welcome, sexual or otherwise...I'll keep an open mind.

Sadly 2015 is going to get a lot worse for many Scots when Westminster pillage the Barnett formula and drastically cut the flow of cash to Scotland whilst at the same time they spend extra on roads & rail links for Southern England.

Some say we brought it on ourselves, but only no voters done that and done it for the whole of Scotland.

If you want a better 2015 you better start a real fight for Independence, spreading the word and freeing many from the stockholm Syndrome

Best thing for 2015 is for everyone to donate at least 20% of net pay to charities and food banks, be happy, be helpful and smile always

Something which would make the Scottish Fab forum a whole lot better in 2015, is if certain sad individuals would accept that we live in a democracy.

Things are decided by the people voting accordingly, the people voted, so accept it. If you don't like this sort of system, could I suggest you go and join Mr.Mugabe or Mr.Putin, I'm sure they'd be happy to welcome you.

Some need to educate themselves for 2015, some are under the impression that one vote is the end all of everything; if that was the case (which it is not) then the Tories would be in power for ever more - why; because they were voted in and that should be it, end off, no party in opposition, you accept it or you go join Mr.Mugabe or Mr.Putin (lol).

Fact is yesterdays loser is tomorrows winner and the fight for independence is growing stronger

I guess no voters are happy with the way things are, food banks, poverty, zero hour contracts,

I believe Scotland can do better, I believe the people of Scotland can stand on their two feet and grow a nation, unlike some who truly believe that one vote is the end to all, lol.

2014 was possibly the moment I finally hit rock bottom

A serious turn of events from Xmas 2008 spiralled one way then the other until the world finally crashed in on me.

2014 my arse hit the deck and not for the first time in my life. Before I buried myself in a bottle and self pity

Today I'm looking forward to making a new start.

Got a new business venture I hope will kick off around April, got my gorgeous grandchildren and one or two of my hobbies are starting to push me in into new adventures too

Since my last meltdown I became more involved in a Buddhist community and

through daily meditation have kept myself afloat.

To the OP don't look back, that is dead and buried and you cannot change it. Move forward take baby steps to begin with, believe in yourself and what is inside your heart and you will come out the otherside

Ignore threads on here that involve Politics and football nothing you can do as an individual will change what others think.

Do not however insulate yourself, get out and meet people, volunteer, do training courses, the Gov. Generously give you £200 gift to go and do some

training either to help you work or for

Your own self esteem

Move forward and move onwards

No idea, I'm lost. Damn Sat nav!

No one can control everything in life so things you can control make them work for you .

Everything else take it in your stride and when you reach that all time low always think there is someone somewhere in the world a lot less fortunate than you .

Ive had tragedy in my life but you deal with it .

Ive also had serious illness too but all of these things make you a stronger person .

I hope 2015 is a better year for you but remember you can make things a little better yourself too good luck xxx

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that way.

Incidentally, a chum popped into Yesbar on Drury Street last night. It was only 44% full

Thanks again everyone. Truely inspiration stuff. I'm slowly but surely starting to look positively about what 2015 might bring. Best wishes and happiness to you all.
