If its your first tattoo try not to get something to big done at once i was stupid enough to get a black tribal style one done took almost 5 hours but after the 3rd hour becomes painfull |

I got mine done at 19 and had thought about it for a few years, so I was set on it and the design I wanted.
I want to get two new ones, again been thinking of the quotes for a few years. I'll be getting them on the inside of my wrists so that will probably be more painful.
Don't rush into a design, make sure it's something you like and can live with. Then if you like it you can get more |

When you pick something leave it a month then look at it again to make sure you still want/ like it

Go for something unique and original.
And I agree with a previous poster about time...after a couple hours it is sore so try onto go too big unless you can manage a few sittings. |

Don't go to this guy's artist then, a good artist doesn't tend to do more than a 4 hour sitting... |

What a load of tosh!
It depends on the person and the artist. Just because he took longer and decided to do more than 4 hours does not mean be isn't a good artist! |

Make sure the artist is not a scratcher and done in a studio not someone's home. Speak to the artist and get them to draw yout up a design of the ideas you have in mind. Can also request the sstencil to be put on and get a better idea of how it will look on your skin. oh and it's gonna hurt. Merry Christmas |

Was half talked into half wanted a tattoo got a small one only couple inches in size best to have an idea what you want 50's style Betty Boop ? Guy drew a few of mine before I choose one I wanted . Only a little pain at the time but you really have to look after it once done moisturise and keep clean as it ois like having an open wound for a wee while . |
