If by places you mean swinging then not really - Glasgow CJs is nearest.

Guess at New Year there might be some private parties on or other people visiting the area.

The whisky shelf at the Galley of Lorne at Ardfern is worth a taste.

The food used to be exceptional but I dunno now.

Swinging wise it's pretty quiet but head into Oban to the pubs, you might bump into folk up for a a bit of fun. On Hogmany there's going to the street party in town so that should be a good night

The Barn Bar at Lerags is good, just outside Oban - and has live music some days over Christmas but check as it is not open every day.
