Hi with the help of lots of people we have a new venue in glasgow. It has been used by us before and is ideal.
As i said in the other forum i dont want it to be lashed together and have got lots of offers for help.Thankyou to those that have.
Its a new thread so people can mail us to confirm there attendance so we can still have a great night. I will mail everyone who wants to attend the new details, but please bear with me as i work also lol. I will put my mobile number up on our profile if anyone want to talk about it. By the way for people who dont know us our names are Greig and Lesley. Dont be shy to contact us and lets make something good out of something that regretably went wrong. |

WOULD BE AN IDEA IF EVERYONE PUT SOMETHING ON THERE PROFILE TO TELL ALL THIS SOCIAL WAS BACK ON AS LIKE ME EVERYONE PERVS THEN THEY CAN CONTACT THE CORRECT PPL TO FIND OUT.

We have done our best with others' help to get a new venue with a dj for free if its well enough attended. Seem to have lost the original post for the social so don't know everyones names who wanted to go so pls mail or post on here or phone call us number is on our profile. In the meantime for those we know wanted to go we are now mailing out the details if you don't get an email let us know. regards gandl xx |

Just to clarify this social is open for everyone, not just the people that had there names down for the Edinburgh one. The more the merrier we say x We know some of you have paid but this is a totally different event. |

Gandl well done, we sent our monry for the edinburgh night, and so sorry we cant make it to glasgow, we aint got a dog sitter. so can only go to edinburgh ones. take it we can kiss the money goodbye.

Well done greig and lesley for pullin something out of a shitty mess. We are defo going and Lusty will liven things if needed to make it a great night but i`m sure it will be fun anyways. Fantastic effort and sure it will be a success!!!! |

something happened that no-one had any control over except ONE person who has been unavailable all day......
a few folks have risen to the challenge and done the bestest job ever in organising a new function ...... and its gonna be GREAT xxxxxxxx
but a wee point to note, I have been in chat a few times today and THESE KIND PEOPLE , MR G, MRS G,Play, JO,foxyfemme, STEVE been put thro a hell of a day answering questions about the old event.. it has nothing to do with them .......
yu have lost money .... that is the fact..... maybe the guy will refund , who knows .....
but can we give the others a fecking break now and allow them to chill tomorrow and sat , to allow them to have a great night .... otherwise they gonna be so fecked off answering all this shit, they will be too tired for saturday xxxxxxx
shoot me if you want.....
what has happened is wrong , but .....
write to buzz .... leave the others alone ......

i have to agree with View on this one.
The folk that have managed to reorganise this event in such a short space of time have done a brilliant job!!!!
Give them a break and let them enjoy the night as much as me and mrs k will and probable as much as everyone else who is going.
Well done to all involved in keeping the social going!!!

I can't wait - the venue has been used before and is ideal, the company will be brill and I dont need to drive so can make an arse of ma self (just for a wee change).

Another new day so an update on social -
We will still be raising money for charity.
We will still be having the auction....(anyone willing to be put up for auction please say).

Can we say thanks to G and L and M and T for getting back to us, very kind of you. We unfortunately cannot go tomorrow night now but glad to see it is open to all so we can look at future ones. It is clear you guys on the Scotland chat are all good and reg friends and we thought that it was your social as opposed to an open social. Hope we can get to a future one. |

If anyone else wants to go to this social in Glasgow 2moro night we're obviously fairly busy and not going to be online very often. Greigs mobile phone no is on our profile. We certainly wouldn't like anyone to miss out on a good night, however there is final details that people will need to know to get in. Even if you know the venue you wont be allowed in without these details and being on the guest list. Don't be afraid to call us. |

I had decided to attend in glasgow after getting a well worded mail from Greig. (Thanks) The only decision i had to make was take the car & stay sober or get the last train.....BUT..i've now decided to book a hotel,so will take the car,have a glass or two of wine and let my hair down,so it looks like i'll be dancing all night!!

It was a little difficult getting a hotel ,however Premier Inns seem to have plenty available if anyone else is interested...
I tried all the posh ones first but no rooms!! |
