Took the kids to Edinburgh on the train this afternoon.
£9.40 from the ticket machine on the platform.
Costs £4.70 on the train, as the guard explained kids go free at the weekend but the ticket machine can't recognise weekends |

Actually it's "Kids Go Free" any day of the week so long as you're travelling during the off-peak periods. |

May 19th 2010
KFC
Dalaman Airport
Turkey
£27 for 2 Zinger Burgers, 2 Fries, 2 Coke
When he told me the price I thought he was talking in Turkish Lira - Wrong ! He meant GBP. If we hadn't been so frigging hungry I'd have thrown it at him |

we bought a dyson from a store and they explained that it had to be dyson parts fitted by dyson engineers if it went wrong and extended 5 year warranty would cost us 120 quid which we paid with them. when we got home we found a form from dyson inside the box for an extended 5 year warranty cost 75 quid. so when we get asked now we tell the sales person to fxxk off politely of course . |

Couple of weeks ago i paid £130 for jeans and went into another shop and they were there for only £80...Considering i got them in the sale at that price there was no chance of a cash refund but only vouchers. |

have heard that the other retailers in the airport have complained to BAA that Greggs was seriously damaging their trade. As a result the Greggs is closing! Pretty shoddy in a so called free Market. Serves the other retailers right for marking up goods when they know they have a captive consumer. |

There is an answer.
Dont go near them,if a fair percentage of ppl bought before they hit the airports the prices would soon come down.
We were charged £12.60 last yr for 2 rolls and sausage and 2 tea's if I had went to counter instead off missus I would have said dont bother |

We were out and about on Sunday, walked thru the large car boot sale along the Clydeside. I gave young daughter £2 to go on the large inflatable slide, thinking that will keep her occupied for 10 mins
She was back within 1 minute... The guy charged her the £2 for two goes down the frigging thing! |
