Yes this is the time to fill tank full to the brim, grease up chain and stick bike in garage on front & rear stands
some drain tank fully, I prefer to fill full as it prevents build up of rust in tank
used to ride bike all year round but as years go on I prefer car for winter and bike just for summer warmer weather fun, guess its the feminine side of me coming out |

"Ducati is on the stands and trickle charger for me "
Trickle Charger is the most important piece of equipment for long storage, rather than remove battery especially if fitted with nightmare alarm systems

"Anywhere can get a decent bike stand? "
Machine mart have paddock stands for £50 or go whole hog and get a lift on eBay for about the same. Need to bolt the latter to your garage floor though probably.
Or just ride it

Am checking the weather forecast as I fancy a wee run out this weekend if it stays dry.
Bike is taxed for 12 months so always hopeful of a decent day to get out.
Would be good to meet up with some fellow bikers. |
