Hi there as promised to some who have shown and intrest in coming along to a social for prodominantly social virgins we have now made plans to host a small social in glasgow on Friday 27th of august it will be hosted by Serengeti and Myself.
There will be 30 places for social virgins all on a first come basis
There will also be 10 places for regular goers to socials who will be like meet n greeters to all social virgins these places will also be on a first come basis.
Anyone wishing to add comments to this post we'd rather u didnt as it just makes for a very long post and makes it easier for us if its kept to just a list of ppl wishing to come along .

can i just remind ppl when ur sending your cach that its a money trensfer not paymet for goods some have sent this way and as u know when u do a fee comes off which i now have to make up the short fall. |

Hi Guys,
AFter the recent sabotage of last nites uniform social it has been decided between myslef and Carolann
that no venue details will be given out for the virgin social datails will be sent to you on the thursday evening with a meeting point then we will all go to the venue from there i know this might be a bit inconviniant for some but its the only way we can see a way around avoiding this one being sabotaged too .

Good plan re the meeting point jacs! Maybe you need to borrow a Hi Viz vest so people know who you are! Maybe have it printed Fab Swingers on the back? Sorry, Tongue in cheek there!

Everyone already knows my views on having a 2 tier social system, so I won't repost them to save server space!
But I have noticed reading through this that a female "meeter and greeter" was turned down as all of those spaces were taken; but slightly further down the list a single male asked to be a "meeter and greeter" and he was told there was a place for him! 
As another poster has already said it does look like a wee bit of a "sausage-fest" but that could just be my view and opinion on the subject again!

I can be very observant when I need to be and this is what is in the OP -

No mention of 5 and 5 only "on a first come basis" so still here!
But like I said it is just my opinion on a subject I feel strongly about i.e. it should always be a first come first served basis for any social and not pick and choose, again the above is just my tuppence worth! |

well how we decide to run a social bb is up to us we have never hand picked for socials as fine well u know

You may have asked for no comments but seeing as it is an open forum, that anyone can make comments on, then I did give my opinion as this will affect any further socials that may be getting held later in the year.
Yes, it is a Social that you are organising but to be fair to all it should be run as all other Socials, again that is my opinion and if I feel strongly enough about anything I will usually put my tuppence worth in whether or not I have been told not to! |
