I'm loving David Attenborough's new series Life Story on BBC1......

....and those obsessive cleaners on Channel 4. Makes me feel much better to see houses 100 times dirtier than mine!!!!

...The Apprentice...Hilarious! One man Went to Mow and the coach was full of foreigners??? And the packed lunches??? Can't believe James is still in..

...Strictly, time for Judy to go methinks

....Was disappointed to find Four in a Bed was about B&Bs and not swinging.

...X Factor...Mel B? Crabbit, rude besom.

Don't watch much telly though.

I got rid of my TV license last summer - now just watch DVDs and catch up on demand - after a few days I can really say I don't miss live TV at all.

Whole heartedly agree (mr). Mrs likes to watch it, but as far as I'm concerned, it's all manufactured cheese pop.

At present you do not need a TV license if you only watch catch-up TV on demand and cannot receive a live signal (via satellite or aerial), the poster before last should check their facts before mouthing off I think.

Mouthing off? Try having a sense of humour ffs, away and take your face for a shit ya grumpy bastard!

Unless things have changed or there's a loophole as suggested then as far as i was aware you need a licence for a computer and even a mobile phone that's capable of watching tv on!

Well if you were able to take my comment as intended and not get all arsey about it then i wouldn't call you grumpy...whether i was wrong or not about the licensing issue!

Just to try and close this debate/argument - this is from the TV licensing authority website ...

The law states that you need to be covered by a TV Licence if you watch or record television programmes, on any device, as they're being shown on TV. This includes TVs, computers, mobile phones, games consoles, digital boxes and Blu-ray/DVD/VHS recorders.

You don't need a licence if you don't use any of these devices to watch or record television programmes as they're being shown on TV - for example, if you use your TV only to watch DVDs or play video games, or you only watch ‘catch up’ services like BBC iPlayer or 4oD.

This 'debate/argument' as you say isn't about whether i was right or wrong (and you've shown me to be wrong, and I'm fine with that)...it was about you saying that i was 'mouthing off' when my comment was clearly meant in jest and you're the one that got their knickers in a twist and all butt hurt about it.

'Debate/argument' closed!

Just to add my tuppence worth in if the TV is capable of receiving a TV signal then license is required . Therefore it's tuner should be disabled to then be unlicensed . A humble TV

Most nights TV is rubbish can't remember the last thing I really enjoyed . Maybe I'm getting old but having more channels means more time to fill on schedule so poor quality programme's fill loads of airtime .

Not really a complaint but, in program's like game of thrones etc why are all the women perfectly trimmed, legs smooth as silk hair and make up all done perfectly etc? Pretty sure they didn't have ladyshave, veet or fucking loreal in roman times

Been watching Vikings series 1 and 2 - really got hooked on it - the women do often appear mud spattered during battles but next scene they look perfect again! Guess the Vikings had great beauty salons as well.
