I remember one of my jobs i used to get paid every second thursday.... omg that was amazing haha
Now i'm self employed and i'm lucky if i get paid any day of the week.... or month

Back in the day, Payday Thursday was one of the best nights out in Glasgow.
Teachers, nurses, council workers and more would pre-load (we didn't call it that then) in places like the Muscular Arms or Lauders then head for the White Elephant.
Happy days indeed. |

aka Moon at one time. Run by Unicorn Leisure who took over Greens Playhouse and turned it into the Apollo. They ran a number of pubs and clubs in Glasgow and Paisley. |
