Like most folk, do the occasional internet search about my favourite artists - just found out that one of my favourite singers -Dave Alvin, played in Glasgow tonight!!! Missed it!
Newcastle tomorrow - so I'm going to go to work then leave and go to see him - might be a bit rough for work on Thursday.
Probably one of the least recognised singer songwriters of his generation - but a true great.
