I was made to dress up as a cannibal with a cardboard bone in my hair and Bin bag skirt. A fortune teller with my mums skirt on and Christmas bobble earrings and a punk rocker with my hair sprayed all colours. That's the ones I can remember

I dressed up as a 'rich lady' with a fur (fake) coat and lots of gold (fake) jewellery. And a witch. A fairy. And George Michael! Lol!

He's been the usual boy things - a pirate, a cowboy, a ghost, a soldier.

I miss the days where everyone's costume was made at home. Now it has to be a shop bought costume

What cosplay are you into? I've (S) come across a lot of it looking for this years halloween outfit. Some of the costumes are incredible!

I remember going as an american footballer once. Shoulder pads were old tights stuffed with socks, oversized footie top and mum even burned a cork to give me those black lines under their eyes. Ah, them were the days!

Previous costumes include Thor (that's the one I wear most), a Gryffindor, Sweetpea from Sucker Punch, Leela from Futurama, Cinderella and Sgt Angua from the Discworld books.

I have 4 I'm working on right now - Kaylee from Firefly, a female Mad Hatter, a female Riddler and the Winter Soldier

Mrs bits made virtually all of our costumes,we went to cj's on Saturday as Thundercats,we bought a breast plate for me and painted it,used her bikini bottoms as my liono pants, used a wolf man wig for the hair then face and body painted the rest on,for Mrs bits (cheetara) we used a blond wig,red bathing costume, fishnets,we made a leopard print stencil on paper and spray painted it on her arms and body then used face and bodaints again for the rest,it looked awesome!!! Lol

My Granny used to make my dress up outfits when I was a wee girl. Remember being a witch but my favourite was when she made me a red cape so I could be little red riding hood
