Love to know your opinions on why folks gain verifications yet hide them?
My profiles an open book, i see that by purely the amount of fellow solo guys lookin it up,lol.
Im advertising myself, im puting them out there for all to see to reassure any looking that im genuine, with the hope it may create new meets and future fun.
Therefore i dont quite get why if your a genuine single guy looking to meet, you opt to appear as if hardly ever met anyone?
Are your verifications precious, like a squirrel with his nuts?
Maybe you think your advertising a hot meet you had and are reluctant to advertise the fact.
I know its an option, i know its up to the individual, i know all of those things, im just saying when im honest enough to show,proudly who i meet etc, its a bit of a mystery why you cant.

Like you said it all about opinions, you obviously put your verfications us, others choose not to put them up because they dont want to.
There are also cases that you may have met someone and theyve left the site and you lose the verification as well, which has happened in my case, but it makes me no less genuine or honest as someone that has up lots.
But thats just my opinion. |

Have you considered that the verification (s) have been left by a profile which is now deleted? In which case they can't show it.
It's all about choice, personally it wouldn't put me off if they didn't have verifications xx |

I used to hide my verifs as lots of men would look at the profiles that I've met, and think those ladies were easy meat. So it was a case of being a tad discreet. Nothing wrong with wanting to hide verifs, as your profile still says you're verified..... just my opinion  |

I hide verifications that are too sexually explicit or have my real name in or are from repeat meets. Not everyone wants others to know their business. As Mucky said, nothing wrong with being discreet. |

Cool, just my opinion too here, is that i think its v possible for a newbie to call his mate and say "here go n verify me mate,then i will hide it but i get the green tick n folk will think im genuine".
And i can see if you've been verified by someone who has turned out to be pushy, or a pest or generally bad news.
And i get it daily, the guys checkin my veri's to as you say check who they think might be easy meat.
Just an observation.

Heres a thought far to many ppl on fab and i dont just mean this thread but other threads too are far to concerned with what other ppl put on there profile, or who they say the meet then dont,or that dont reply to my messages, they block me after looking at my private pics, christ the list is endless.Jesus ppl get over it and have fun. like some guys have done with thier verified profiles, and then created female profiles then verified them... found this out the hard way last year  |

Its just a thread that informs and creates a chance to discuss and as i have done from various others input, learnt a wee bit more, cant see anything so bad bout that. |
