I found that walking round deserted carparks at night with your norks or old feller out is a good sign.

If there were any 'secret' signals, they wouldn't stay secret for long.

There used to be a swingers mag called Desire and it sold the chameleon broaches and badges, I think there was a club called Chameleon,

I heard that the sign was the supermarket trolley with the wobbly wheel.

Get spotting

I planted pampas grass in my front garden years ago.

Used to burn it every year to allow the new roots to come through.

Seeds used to blow all over the place so was constantly digging up young pampas grass from various parts if the garden

Unfortunately it died a few years ago and even then trying to dig the fecker out was a nightmare. Ended up tying rope around the roots and pulling it out with the old 4x4.

All my neighbours now have pampas grass

But yes it was a well known symbol of swingers in residence.

Scotland and beyond

I tie a plastic bag to my pampas grass whilst wearing an ankle bracelet (not a tag). It's a dead giveaway for those in the know.

"Have heard of secret signals to tell fellow swingers you swing but unsure what is myth and real, you guys use any? "

an overflow car park in Kinross is used regular with swingers at lunchtimes and onwards, the indication many use is an "orange" displayed on the dashboard of the cars involved. this is an indication that the people in the car are looking to play, swing or be viewed as they play in car

This is what some local's use and I have also been and tried, ive also seen it mentioned on other forum's, some joke - (oh I don't have an orange, what about a banana and plums) fact is, some locals still do it, but you need to know the correct car park.
