Well, for those of us in the central belt, it shouldn't be too bad but for those of you on the west Coast, good luck all

I wonder if the hardcore doggers will be shagging in the gale force winds and terrible storms...

Was Scott of the Antarctic a dogger?

In Stornoway now and it's not too bad. Chucking it down and windy but not overly windy. Suspect media hype. Had worse coming back from Lerwick a few weeks ago.

Ok so the cab is rocking a fair bit now, sadly not a boast (insert small violin here), so I guess things are picking up.

Anyone who drives a truck and stops in lay-bys for a kip will know the feeling when another wagon passes. It's like that all the time now.

So, aye, batton doon!!!

It was weird. I was up at 5 and stuck my head out the door to see what the weather was on, expecting the hurricane, and there was nothing. Light breeze, could see stars so only a bit of cloud.

Then at 5:10 it was thrashing down and my wheelie bin took itself off down the street!

Can just picture Jodie running down the street in her M&S dressing gown, fluffy slippers & hair net, chasing here wheelie bin shouting, "Don't leave me this way"

Well I was woken up nice and early by the wind. It woke me up at 6 but I don't think it's as wild as it's been before. It's only in the media because it's hitting England as well. We get 70mph gusts here and we hardly hear about it
