Has anyone seen that they're trying to have a referendum in England on wether or not to now keep us in the union? I for one would be happy if they did kick us out but need to ask what is the point in all that fear mongering & lying they did to keep us if they are actually going to do this?

Its disgusting by the way ,were a second class citizen in the union , back bench torries are already puting pressure on David Cameron to revoke on the prupposed new powers for Scotland , they'll have to appear to offer something , but its not going to give hollyrood the ability to transform Scotland into a just n equally society !

Defo Max is a buzz word created by Westminster to dupe Scots !

There is no such thing as defo Max other than an attractive word put to the Scottish people in order to gain there vote !

Yeah Devo Max is open completely to translation so it could mean anything. That's why it was correctly dropped from the referendum ballot paper.

Austria voting to become an island,

would be more plausible, and infinitely more possible.

This is getting boring now. I've just about had it with conspiracy theories, MI5 involvement, rigged votes, etc.

Politicians are born liars no matter what party they are from.

All this whinging isn't solving anything. Accept the result of the majority of voters and move on.

Parts of England could have a referendum for Sharia law if they like.

Thats democracy, isnt it?

Referendums have to be approved by parliament so unlikely to have any official sharia law areas.

Although England having a referendum on whether Scotland should remain part of the union,

Would not be democracy,

would hold no credibility,

would not even be the teeniest, tiniest, minutest,

minisculest,bit possible.

It's attaching plausibility,

To complete impossibility.

It wont happen, because England is/was where the power is. It was the colonial entity. Its just the English trying to figure out who the hell they are in a post-colonial hodge podge.

It would be like Germany voting to rid itself of Bavaria - why?

Its just silly!!!!

In the sense that we could vote to be seperate cant see any reason why they shouldnt have the vote common sense says the govt would never allow it though

Possible-one country within the union of four,

holding a referendum to become independent.

Impossible-one country within the union of four,

holding a referendum, with the intention of excluding any of the other three countries.
