I've been on Fab for about 6 years now and met some great people, experienced all my fantasies and met some awesome fuck buddies.
I live in a quieter part of the world now and maybe that's what drives my feeling that it's not the same anymore.
Less hook ups, less random nights with new friends,
It even seems more socially acceptable to hook up via pof or tinder and it's almost like the whole world has moved on......
I met a friend on Tinder and she recently messaged saying 'Can you find us another guy for a threesome'... and I thought it funny to think I'd required to be on here for that sort of thing....
Anyway, whats the future of Swing? I think a GPS based Pop up Swing club must be just around the corner!!!!

I still believe you get out what you put into swinging. Stay firm to your beliefs, preferences and integrity and you will have a blast... 
The second you start to compromise on the above, it starts to erode....

I think for me personally ...
When we 1 st started it was a hoot made loads of friends and went to loads of socials
Good socials have died a death and don't get to play as often as we did due to work kids life really
But more importantly I think we have grew out of our swinging lifestyle
Tried it loved it at the time but got a bit boring after a while lol
Who knows ... Maybe we will kick start again when the mood takes us lol

Swinging has gradually got more boring for me....after 5 years NSA sex doesn't hold any thrill for me, and I'm quite happy joining in the forums now and again....possibly attending the odd social.
Meeting my lovely other half has been an amazing bonus to being here, but I reckon Fab has a sell by date  |

its easier and easier for us all to get nsa sex..... the world we live in makes it possible which is a shame for the likes of fab.
Ive never been one for parties or socials mainly as ive thought id be the odd one out which is why i think we need to change it....
interesting to hear some couples also get a bit tired of it, how do we re fire the thrill??? |

If you're in your 40s or 50s, you can look back over a fair part of your adult life and I think you'll see that it's been divided into several stages/phases.
Not necessarily everyone, but I suspect that for a number of people swinging is simply a phase in their life. But things in their real worlds change and they find they no longer have the time, energy, and latterly the inclination goes too.
Personally, although I've done the swinging/NSA bit, courtesy of Fab I've discovered that I much prefer more than just basic nsa. I get greater satisfaction from something more.
But of course, as always it's each to their own. |
