2 weeks or so of texting/chatting. 3 or 4 hrs on the day we're out with kids etc surely thats reasonable? as a genuine couple this is the problem, we understand that all the timewasters go silent on the day of meet and other couple panic 'they're yet another timewaster etc' very frustrating for geniune folk like ourselves |

yeah we do text on sat am. then seems if we dont text every hour thereafter we get cancelled. If I'm takin the kids out somewhere in afternoon surely 2 or 3 ours is reasonable to not be online/textin. we have a life outside as well! |

i think some folk arrange more than one meet a day hoping that one will happen. then when one falls the other is still on. i think it shows a lack of trust in the 1st meet arranged. put it down to a learning curve and carry on as others will arrange a meet and keep to it. yes we all have a life out side in the real world and i do agree that you should not need to remind folk every hour that you are still free for the meet |

Not that I have a lot of experience with meets, but after I got cancelled on a couple of times, I decided to change the sort of person I contacted with a view to chatting with etc.
Maybe if you have been let down by some people then you want to re-evaluate who you look to contact etc. Just a thought thats all. |

I would say you shouldnt have to keep texting ppl as then you can come over as a pest,it's maybe a lame excuse on their part.
We ourselves had a meet arranged a while back and spoke to the cpl an hour before we left the house but as we were driving to meet them got a text stating some emergency and a call off but they were stupid enough to get verified from a single woman that they had met on the same night, maybe they should have just said we hadnt heard from you for an hour so we arranged something else |

sounds like some one got cock shy and thought a female on her own would be less judgemental. when it comes to meets the amount of guys that get cold feet in case their dicks are not up to the job is funny. i thought it was ment to be a social interaction not a measuring contest as some folk think. |

it is only bad manners not to turn up or let the other person know. No need to be in constant contact, but acouple of texts on the day just to confirm the meet is still on is fine. I always text to say i am just leaving, and if i dont get a reply would give a quick call.
this helps deal with timewasters |

Yeh I have this T shirt too. Couple arranges a meet in Glasgow. You get a text on the morning of the meet confirming its on and they will text you when they get to the hotel. No text and find yourself blocked from their web page but later on you here they had guys lined up. There loss |
