Well Sky News right now just reported Potential Election Fraud. The media officer for the officials has stated they have 10 cases they are aware of and the papers are now being passed to the Police for investigation.
I dont care if this is YES or NO people, this is the last thing that any one wants in these results.
What the hell are people thinking of...... |

Dundee turnout 78percent YIKES...looking at the others this is not that good. I would have thought that Dundee would have been high 80s.
I wonder which area will be the highest and first to break the 90 percent mark? My money is on East Renfrewshire

Hold on this was cleared up on the TV 5 mins ago. There was a table which had NO on it. This table had yes and no votes on it. The commission stated that these papers had been validated BUT are awaiting to be counted.
Its worth noting that Sky News seems to be the best for jumping on these rumours very very quickly and getting their reports right into the mix of things which is good as its clearing up these sort of issues.

We really need the bigger area numbers in to give both sides a clearly indication of things.
One area could easily wipe out the No lead which in total is only 12,089 votes.

The thing is that Salmon really has to get off his backside and do the following IMHO
1. Get Brown and others together and work towards the devo powers and move forward as quick as possible.
2. Resign as First Minister.
I doubt if he will do either but I would like the SNP to step upto the mark and go for Option 1 as I think this would be best for us all and we can get on with things.
We cant afford to dwell on this and be bitter towards each other, families have to start talking again, neighbours have to shake hands, work mates need to agree to disagree.
If the above is not done then its going to be a missrable few months.

I totally and utterly disagree with you. We have shown the world that our people care and turned out in massive numbers to show that they care be it for No or Yes.
We are not the laughing stock of the world if if you think that they you should really give yourself a really good shake.
Your area had a massive turnout and everyone must have been doing very well due to this.
I look forward to your return when you have came to terms with this result.
Take care

I voted the way I did because I believed in independence. I also said that I will accept the result and still stand with those with whom I differed.
Our diversity is our strength, we as a nation have accepted the democratic process. This is the will of the majority.
Although there was never a third option on the paper we were promised one. We need to make sure as a collective we empower ourselves to hold to account those who promised and make sure we carry on proud that we had a say, the message is loud and its clear.
We want change, we want what you promised, we want to see an end to self serving politics, we want a fairer just society. |

I am not glad of the result but I am relieved.
But let us all now rejoice both sides in this debate. Wee Scotland has shown the entire world what a vibrant passionate Democracy looks like. The referendum has demonstrated the power of democratic politics as the alternative to bombs and bullets and terror.
What we have done gives hope to all the world that there is another way.
Be proud Scotland we have achieved a great victory for all who crave that alternative.
May God Bless Scotland and the Scots! |

Today we are very sad ...not because of the result of the vote as ultimately that is what we wanted it to be BUT for the fact I have lost a friend, a friend I have had for 35 years because of our difference of opinion.
This morning I was called a number of names, names that stick and can never be taken back ... I have fkd up their childrens future and ruined the lives of many. I am so deeply deeply saddened by this as everyone votes for what they believe is the best thing to do, everyone has an opinion and not everyone will ever agree.
It is the time to work together and move forward, Scotland was a great Country yesterday, still is today and still will be tomorrow. xx |

Trace so sorry to hear that. The referendum has been great it's provoked debate & interest in the future of our country but no1 can deny it's been hugely divisive & many friends & family have fallen out over this. It will take long time for this to settle passions have run high. Just hope u & ur friend can get back on track sometime in the future. Xx |

Threatening to burn the British flag, telling me I should be ashamed of myself and to not bother singing O flower of Scotland because I'm not a true scot... The list is endless.
