Just saw what could only be described as a group of Eastern European thugs pushing yes leaflets into people's hands in Victoria rd Glasgow. Although, in the interest of fairness they have balanced this up by having an unconvincing tranny leafleting outside lidl. It just gets weirder by the day

Just had one knock the door and tell my 13 year old son (after he challenged the guy about education and jobs in the future - to which the guy had no answer) that if I vote no he can blame me for the demise of Scotland

Got to love my son sometimes because he turned round without a seconds hesitation and said 'I'd rather thank him for giving me manners and choices than being rude and telling people what to do'

Very very proud dad tonight

You don't know me but due to my former profession I am proud of your son. Awsome lad buy him an ice cream!

The right to vote for 16 year olds was one of the good ideas of this whole thing.

Does anyone else feel slightly annoyed that so much money on both sides has been wasted on leaflets, tat and advertising? Freedom of speech great but surely they could have used the money to fund a homeless shelter or a few teachers or carers. So many in poverty. Could have fed people who or helped others with clothes.

Have they just lost site of what it's really about? ?

Westminster just gave themselves an 11% pay rise holyrood mps have voluntarily turned down a pay rise for the last 3 years. msm full of accusations about nationalists yet no coverage on the abuse the violence and the vandalism coming from the no campaign very one sided even today's msm trying to stir up ill feelings I personally have been called a bully a cybernat and a nazi (I actually lean more to the greens than any other party)so I understand why people are getting heated this referendum has brought out some of the best in people and some of the worst tomorrow it will be over and the one thing I know for certain is come what may when I get asked in the future what did you vote I will be proud to say I voted yes

Actually they did not give themselves a pay rise at all. They objected to the pay rise. It was set by an independant body and all three party leaders objected to it.

I agree, there is "passion" on both sides and at times its slipped into areas that it really shouldn't have.

I am a No, a hard no. I know that my job is at risk as my boss has already told us that he has an exit strategy if it's a Yes.

Why the exit, uncertainty about funding going forward post Yes.

There isn't a secure job anywhere, the illusion that the no campaign fails to.acknowledge.

Nothing is secure, nothing has sanctity when we deal with politics, the bedfellows make me laugh.

On both sides the very slim minority have caused animosity.

We've played the blame game for years.

Again I say if devolution has proven successful at anything its proven that we can succede with so little then we can achieve so much more with it all.

If all the nonsense being shouted about how everything is being mismanged and falling down around us is true then why not just scrap the whole devolved thing?

I see the no campaign telling us that 'we are better together, you can have some more powers, we don't know what as yet just trust us" You have proven on numerous ocassions in the last 50 years you cannot be trusted.

We will have no more excuses should we govern ourselves and make no mistake we will not be heard nor will the rest of the UK sit back and allow us to devolve more without a popular uprising the politico cannot risk.

No matter of any political leaning this behavior is unacceptable."

If it is a YES vote I can see more people burning Union flags, I really hope they dont as this will just cause so many more issues and then the UK Gov will just say bugger off as the rest of the UK will want nothing to do with us at all.

I'll feel a lot safer in my bed at night know kim yong eel (not strong on Korean) is my pal too.

Dont forget Putin, after all Alex looks upto him. Maybe the Russians will ask to base some ships on the Clyde?"

And Trump. That's a fart, isn't it?

Now here's an idea the Russian fleet in Glasgow we could charge them Moreing fees and while they are there provide us with Nuke cover that was not ours so we can look all rightious.

That will safe guard our indipendence. Oh actually um perhaps not.

What about this that has just been posted on here

"... "wonderful news on facebook got a post david cameron is threating to kill himself any luck i more than happy to help and any west minsters go the same""

Is that not vile and disgusting thing to post on a site. This shows you how bad these folk are. What hope do we have for the future with folk posting stuff like that.

I have never got the impression the 40% of Scots hate the English. Far, far from it.

We may not like their political leaders and figures, but I'd doubt even 5% of Scots "hated", the English.

No I agree that's out of order. However if posh dave came on tele tomorrow and resigned asking Scotland to vote No. I predict a landslide No victory.

Thats another matter, I would not have any issue with that at all, I would not have an issue with Wee Eck doing the same if it was a No vote.

What I would not want is to WISH any one dead.

I have only had one person come to my door during the campaign. He was a English man wanting me to vote yes but The Great British Bake Off was on telly as it was ten past eight at night so I did not engage him in debate.

Cakes over politics any day
