memory foam mattresses

No idea, I'm lost. Damn Sat nav!

Well after buying a new bed a year ago with a memory foam mattress I've decided that a year of bloody murderous sleeps the mattress is getting dumped for a new one lol.

Has anyone else had awful sleeps since buying a memory foam mattress or is it just me?

Yeah i got one and its hopeless! Hold the heat a terrible amount. No so bad come winter but in summer its shit haha

I decided against memory foam when I got my new one. I'm not proud to admit it freaked me out. I opted for cushion topped instead and it's like lying on a cloud. Had to leave it at my mums when I moved out and go home as often as I can for a good sleep

I bought the cover for the mattress to help with the heat but the mattress itself is a nightmare and a year is enough time to try and got used to it I think lol

I don't like them ...a few years ago I was ill and spent some time in hospital and when I got out my mum suggested I stay with her for a few nights....I lasted one night because of the memory foam mattress...I thought I was on fire!

Far too warm for me.

I've had 2. First one wasn't the most expensive one and thought it was average at best. But spent a bit extra next time and feel it's definitely the best mattress I've owned.

The trouble with buying a new mattress is that when you're trying it out in the shop, lying on it fully clothed, with lots of strangers walking past looking at you it's a difficult one to know if it's going be a comfy nights sleep or a comfy night awake! Once you've bought an uncomfy mattress you're kinda lumbered with it till the next one!
