now they say that folk put on a few pounds when they have their photo taken, but looking at some of the pics on profiles it looks like it adds years to a persons age as well . an example is a 18yo female looking like 28 ish.
so to save confusion illl do the question like this .
profile pics - do you use the good ones that are years old.
or put them in to photoshop to remove those added pounds or years before posting them on to a profile or do you just say sod it and post one that you just did on your mobile
so is it= old pic / altered pic/or sod it pic

We always use up to date pictures . I would hate to meet someone and they thought god she looks fatter older etc. We went to meet a guy recently his picture he had no extra pounds , muscles , etc went we got there he didn't look anything like his picture even his face, although nice enough guy , I felt a bit jooped lol . But then weirdly the next people to meet him put on their verification much better looking than pictures??? xxxx |

My pics are real and up2date .. dont see the point in putting up old pics. I have had a cpl of meets where they have looked nothing like their pics only to find out them being old ones and it annoys me to hell because arranging a meet takes time and effort only to be let down and time wasted... keep it real ppl that way we all know we are meeting xxxxxx |

not got the best of pics but theyre up to date n pretty representative, i know we never see ourselves as others do and theres always the excuse about not being photogenic but dont see point in trying to deceive with outdated pics |

End of the day......if u use old pics/fakepics etc then the minute someone meets ya its gonna be blatantly obvious....so whats the point.
Oh and our pics are very recent. |

I use recent ones, what’s the point of using old photos s if you’re going to meet some one and you don’t look anything like your photos? Having said that long often do you think you should change your photos on our profile? |

I suppose the flipside of this is people who have posted photos that seem to be older than the ages on their profile. Seen one the other day where it was blatantly obvious they'd knocked a good few years off their age. Don't see the point of this at all. |

seriously we have found that most couples and even single guys that have the balls to actually show up,,, actually look much better than their best pick for pic |

agree that pics should be recent
(as ours are) also have thought it may be an idea for site to have a time restriction on how far back in time the pics are uploaded to site. we always look at that as people change from year to year as we all know. any suggestions on how long older uploads should stay on???
i know this could open up a big can of worms but if folks are seriously wanting to meet in person we need to see what you are like now and not 2or 3 yrs ago.
prime example is socials... we hardly recognise anyone in person!!! AND do agree not everyone is photogenic.... we've met folks where their pics just do not do them justice at all. |

Unfortunately someone could have old pics on a disc or stored on their computer files and just upload them regularly every few months if they wished to get round that. |

some people simply are not very photogenic yet, then get all technical about updates and scheduled pic changes etc, kinda think the individual recognises what is a true representation of them and if that developes into an outdated miss-representation,that will naturally bring about the need to update surely?

Not this old chestnut again!
All my pics are recent and frankly - what you see is what you get... If you don't like it.. guess what? I dont care! lol
