I had a what I would describe as a near death experience tonight in my job tonight, a moment where I nearly died.
It has made me think about life and what is precious in my life.
I thought of my daughters and what would their lives be if I was not there?
I am thinking if what I do is now selfish towards my daughters?
I am thinking now do I leave what I do and love and let the infection in our society just take over or do I stay and fight for the decent people who work for a good life?
To protect the weak is what we all strive for it's a basic instinct, some of us are paid to do it but when does enough become enough????

protecting the weak is not a basic instinct of humanity. it is a rare occurrence that one finds those willing to endanger themselves to protect others and it speaks volumes for the character of those individuals.
so I would argue that enough is enough. when.. enough is enough.
when one can look back at what they do and know that they have made a difference
I would also argue that no one but ones self can know the answer to this question. but in general terms . - if one feels that they are more needed at home than at work then that's where one should be..

Only you can decide that. Nobody knows unless they have walked a mile in your shoes because everyone is different and tolerances are at different levels.
Sorry to hear you had a bad experience x |

Statistics say you're more likely to die getting out of bed in the morning than anything else and you wouldn't stop getting up so why stop doing a job you love? |
