Yes especially peoples opinions on it.
See on voting day where it's all very discrete and you put your X where you want it inside a little discrete box that's for a reason lol.. found this on fb and loved it.
Having a political opinion is like having a great big BOABY.
Be proud of it and share it with people who WANT to share it with you.
BUT DON'T show it off persistently in public.
And certainly DON'T ram it down peoples throats |

"Over it on here, certain members it's all they post about/comment on...same faces, same tired back and forth arguments. "
Certain guys suddenly appeared from nowhere, were very aggressive in their YES support, in some cases the language was pretty awful, and have since disappeared again! |

Thankfully. Wouldn't be surprised if it was all the same person, maybe two at most. |

I'm bored silly of it and I'm down here. I don't envy anyone up there with this.
I bet it also adds an extra element of irritation to shopping. Here I just have to avoid charity muggers, I bet you have to spot and avoid peeps with clipboards or flyers and so on. |

Or the police looking for folk who have punched/abused said flyer folk.
Both sides are at it.. Neither side has clean hands.
The sooner it's over the better. |

I'm not bored at all. It's an exciting time in our history regardless of the outcome. Neither have I come across anyone on either side when out shopping. I have seen a lotion great information, lots of not so great information and downright utter nonsense. I am very amused at the Three Amigos heading up north. There's a Castle on Loch Leven that could be put to good use |

The most important decision in the history of our country, and you are annoyed by hearing about it. Wind your necks in and get a grip. People just seem to moan about anything and everything on here. |

Think you have misunderstood my friend! I am totally and utterly aware of how important it is but my point was I just want it over with, I'm fed up looking at Salmonds smug face with his sidekick wee Jimmy Krankie and on the other side the guy that looks like a human badger!
There has been so much BS and sniping by each side I worry that the effects will live long in people's memories causing our country to be divided within whatever the outcome!
Hope that clarifies my view and I respect others views which can't always be said of the debate between the politicians!!! |

Very fed up of it. And not just as i'm passionate no voter. Ok so i would like to be at least canvassed by the yes camp so i can tell them what i think but i think there should be news blackout on it for a week! Had enough of the BBC's yes campaign bias. |

What makes me cringe is seeing scots at each others throats, throwing vile insults.
All because some politician wants his/her place in history.
It's all well and good spouting "destiny", "history", "future" - however fine a set of words they are, they don't put food on the table or pay the bills.
Not matter the outcome, this referendum will leave a nasty aftertaste for years to come. |

The first paragraph. Throwing random insults at a man who has done more for Scotland in the short time he has been in charge, than westminister has done in 30 odd years. |

I have lived through many general elections but have never witnessed the spite and outright hatred this referendum has caused.
Truth has been the first causulty then decency and respect for another person who might not share your views.
If I had a pound (still the sterling variety) for every time i have been called a traitor or non scot because of my views then I would be a rich man and sail off into the sunset and leave you all to fight it out
Too many people really don't understand the significance of the vote. They see it as some sort of protest vote against "posh dave". I have been told that it is "worth a shot" or a "great adventure". It is neither of these things as it is irreversible. It is not like a protest vote for the monster raving loony party. |

To be honest, after taking away the bad on both sides, the sniping and digs, (and that's just on here) I could not be happier at the fact so many people have engaged in debate. Whatever the outcome I am proud to be a part of such a historical moment. |

In your view.
SNP/Yes campaign go on about "democratic deficit", yet are happy to push this vote forward.
Depending on how you measure the Scottish elections, the SNP got 46% of the vote cast.
Or 22% of the total electoral roll.

And where "should" Scotland be? Do you believe that being part of the UK has somehow been holding you back and that all of a sudden you get to be free and become a political superpower of your own right? |

"bikerbob _nny jane-d your labour party has died telling lies for tories shame on them"
Like I give a flying fu*k for any of the current parties.
Remember Eck ' s non existent "legal advice"
Or how about the unaccounted for 54k on "fripperies"
Typical Yes ploy - if you don't support yes you're a Tory.
Fu*k sake.
What next - racist, traitor, tartan tom, quislings or how about my personal favourite - not a "true" scot.
This vote isn't about eck they cry, well it's not just about the english/tories either.
It's about the future.
The tome, big word - go look it up - "Scotland's Future" is nothing more than a wish list. It's "aspirational".
The pronouncements from Yes central don't add up.
Go read the Nomura, Credit Suisse, BNP Paribas reports regarding a future independent Scotland. They make for some disturbing thoughts.
BNP Paribas estimate up to 40,000 financial sector jobs will have to go..
Credit Suisse 180 - 300 basis points on any scottish government debt (minimum), should we default on our part of the debt.
Then there's scientific research funding - "levels will be maintained, there will be a common research area". Aye right, pull the other one - it makes me sh@t gold bars.
Is it worth it?
In my eyes No. |

A thread asking people if they're sick about the referendum hijacked and turned into a debate about the referendum with people posting the same arguments as they have on numerous occasions previously. Anyone else see the irony of that?
Personally I'd like to go to sleep tonight and not wake up till around the 20th as it's getting really boring and quite spiteful with some in both the Yes
and No camps being equally guilty of venomous and deliberately antagonistic "debate". This isn't due to ignorance or a failure to inform myself, I'm actually a keen observer of current affairs, just not on a swingers site. In my opinion, and it is just that, it's not the place for this kinda debate |

"It's starting to bore me to be honest!
My only worry is if it's a YES or NO the country will never be the same again! Instead of uniting us as a nation it may do the opposite!"
By the way this thread has gone your worry had become reality. In my opinion this referendum has caused splits that will never be healed it's turned people against each other as it's clear from both sides that others opinions don't matter and if you don't agree the other then you're either an unpatriotic Tory or a bullying cybernat.
What will happen will happen let start putting the nastiness away and start being grown ups |

Utterly sick to the back teeth with it.
In the beginning I was all in support of Scotland staying in the UK but now, because i'm so fed up with it all and the racist muppet that is Alex fish chops, I think that Scotland should just bugger off.
Of course, I mean no offense to any Scottish fabbers - it's the bloody polititians!!! |
